When you forgive, you love.

Last night I was at home, enjoying the house to myself...kind of relishing in the fact that I was alone and happy. So, I popped in a movie Jen and Lindsey said I would love. The newish roommates were right... they have learned a thing or two about me over the last three months.

I both appreciate this and get nervous about being a known a little (do you ever feel this way?). Anyways, Into the Wild, was incredible. An phone call from my sis in the middle of the movie made it have even more meaningful, I think. It finished and I sat there without words for a bit. Then I cried. I was feeling a lot of things and to describe them all might take hours but here are the quotes I feverishly wrote down after the movie was done.

"Happiness is only real when shared" (I love the scene with the grandpa dude and the naive boy who didn't know real family had become his in this wise man over the course of a few weeks).

"Some people run away and don't let themselves be loved.."

"When you forgive, you love."

Conclusion: Mostly, I am distracted by my passions and the things that set me a part from the rest of humanity as "Diane Christine". I have sought and studied and longed to know who She really is. But, in the end, I want to know the things which connect me with humanity. I want to love and be loved. I want to live constantly forgiving and asking to be forgiven so I am free to love again.
