Had the opportunity today to share some food with some families who need it here at Rosedale this morning. In addition, I was able to see four residents go and pick out some work clothes for their reward at the end of a 12-week job class. And finally spoke with one young lady who is working to figure out how to her husband back from Mexico so they can be together. I am thankful for these opportunties and for the privilege of getting to be a part of people's lives in a way that brings a smile to the God who loves.
I am a bit tired after a month of normal work which is good and so I am thankful for rest, for friends from church, for family, for times to practice being thankful and for an amazing husband to adventure with.
A friend told me marriage is the "hope of the universe" and I thought potentially rash... but instead its right on...
May God bring us hope and life and love this season.
